Kendriya Vidyalaya No 2 (CRPF Campus) emerged champions in the Bhubaneswar Inter-School Volleyball Tournament, defeating ODM Public School by 3-1 sets in the final at Unit-I Govt Boys High School ground here today.
Hockey Olympian Dilip Tirkey inaugurated the one-day tournament, which was organised by Bhubaneswar Athletic Association. As many as 16 schools participated in the event.
RESULTS:
Match No 1: Sai International beat Govt Boys High School, Unit-IX by 2-1 sets.
Match No 2: Gouri Sankar EM School beat DAV School, Chandershakpur 2-0
Match No 3: ODM Public School beat St Xavier, Khandagiri 2-0
Match No 4: Govt Boys High School, Unit-IX beat St Xavier International 2-0
Match No 5: Sai International beat DM School 2-0
Match No 6: Mother’s Public School beat Prabhuji EM School 2-0.
Match No 7: ODM Public School beat Mother’s Public School 2-0
Match No 8: Kendriya Vidyalaya No 2 beat Sainik School 2-0
Match No 9 (1st SF): Kendriya Vidyalaya No 2 beat Sai International 2-0
Match No 10 (2nd SF): ODM Public School beat Gouri Sankar EM School 2-0
Match No 11 (Final): Kendriya Vidyalaya No 2 beat ODM Public School 3-1
